Examining what it means to be a body in an unstable world, Laura Robertson’s practice draws on personal experience combined with mythology and popular culture to create re-tellings of human narratives in the form of sculpture, installation, performance and events.

Robertson graduated from sculpture at the Royal College of Art in 2020. On graduating Robertson collaborated with the Freud Museum for solo project, a-visit-through-the-window and is due to show at the Royal Society of Sculptors alongside fellow graduates in June. Online channel, Canvas Arts, an arts council initiative made a short documentary of Robertson’s project, Ride, for their Creative Minds playlist, alongside Sarah Maple, Elmgreen and Dragset, Antony Gormley, Martin Creed and Maggi Hambling.

Robertson lives and works in Devon and London
